This may be a bit obscure but; Kraftwerk's 1977 album Trans-Europe Express has songs titled Franz Schubert with its unbroken follow up Endless Endless. It does not really fit into your category of short due to the first offering running at 4:26 with the connected follow up at :55 seconds respectively, but I could not help but add this answer. Since this album was released I have loved these pieces. Their music caused me to seek out more classical artists. The songs are a mixture of techno and classical. Kraftwerk was a trendsetting German group experimenting with electronic dance music before it was popular in the 80's. Their work was an influence on much of the music of that decade. Do a search on Kraftwerk. Thank you for reading the rantings of an ol' skooler!

Today I'm gonna say the theme song to the Flintstones.

I know it sounds silly, but it is a good melody
