I'm a huge supporter of Gore. I believe that he would make a great president; after all, he was a great vice-president (and don't try to argue against that because the Clinton administration saw the only surplus in funds since before the depression, we had a positive reputation globally, and polls say that Americans were on average happier when Clinton-Gore were in office than Regan, Bush, and the other Bush.) Also, to address his being attacked by those who answered before me, his global warming claims are absolutely accurate. Anyone who can possible ignore this problem is only doing it for one reason: they are reluctant to change their lifestyle, so they live in denial. As for "he claims to have invented the internet," he didn't, nor did he claim to do so. He did however introduce the bill to Congress that put government funding into the creation of the internet, so in a way he is largely responsible for its success.

All of this being said, I do not think that he could win. It is too late in the game, and he would have to rely on stealing votes from other candidates. Based on polls, Obama's supporters say that they do not think that they will change their mind between now and election day. The far majority say that they are dead-set on voting for him. Clinton on the other hand, has a significant percentage of supporters who say that they are still not sure and that they may still change their mind. The majority of those, however, say that their second-choice is Obama. Gore would recieve support, but the numbers just aren't there for him this late in the game. He could take quite a bit of votes away from Edwards, but that wouldn't be enough.

You've got to be kidding! With all his nonsense about "global warming" and his invention of the internet? He'd do best by doing what your avatar's nic is: "Must Hide Face". If I were him, I'd be trying to be as inconspicuous, or non-existent, as possible. "Must Hide Face In Shame" would be more like it for him. God Bless you.

Doubt it, especially this late in the race. Too many people remember that he supported the only elected President ever to be impeached (Bill Clinton).
