I read Cross already and it ends like this: ....
Ok I am not that evil..I won't give it away.

but: Don't be to excited. Sorry, but as a fellow avid reader, it was disappointing. Really.

I am reading Crichton's new one...so far, I am kind of disappointed with it as well. Maybe I am just jaded...no...I love love love the Cross novels..that is why, I say..don't get your hopes up..it does not meet with the regular standards.

I just finished 2 Dean Koontz novels, but I can't remember what they were called... ha...

Next I'm going to read The Dharma Bum by some guy... it's an old book. Then I plan on reading To Kill a Mockingbird because I never went to H.S. so I didn't read any of those "required" reading books....

You wouldn't be dead for quids by Robert G Barrett.
Aussie Author, really funny. It's actually the first in a series.

Les Norton, a big red-headed country boy from Queensland, has just arrived in the big smoke and is set to make his mark. Working as a bouncer at an illegal casino in the Cross, Les encounters a number of fascinating characters who make up the seamier side of one of the most exciting cities in the world — gamblers, con-men, bookies, bouncers, hookers and hit men, who ply their respective trades from the golden sands of Bondi to the tainted gutters of Kings Cross ... usually on the wrong side of the law

I'm reading two, actually.

Life of Pi, which is about an Indian guy who is a survivor of a shipwreck along with a tiger.

And I'm listening to the audiobook of the fifth Harry Potter at work when I'm doing spreadsheets and things.

I am reading THE PACT by Jodi Picoult. It's about this boy and girl who were in love and made a suicide pact. She killed herself but he didn't and was charged with her murder because he was with her at the time. It is such a good book but I have a feeling that the ending will blow me away.
