Ok, so heres the deal. I'm pretty sure I was one of many who bought a Dell 3100 with intergrated Sound and Graphics cards. To put it simply they suck, and there alleged good intergrated graphics are a joke. I would like somebody to please answer me if it is possible to get a new mobo that will fit my current case that has slots for a graphics card, pci express x16 slot, and will work with ddr2 ram, sata 2 hd, and my cd and dvd roms. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone knew a specific board actually, lol Save me alot of looking around for one that will work.

Thanks alot!

as long as the case is in standard form factor you can always replace it. just be sure to identify the processor and ram slots and the specs of your chips as they are necessary in choosing the right mobo for your system. if you have difficulties just contact me.

Hi. Choose any mobo that will fit the case. Usually ATX. Then put in what you want! The PSU will probably need to be upgraded.

I recommend this. It has everything you need but one thing you forget to mention which CPU you're using. Are you planning on using different one? One last thing, this mobo might or might not fit your computer case especially this OEM one.

take it to a local tech as normally, you must reinstall your system when replacing a mother board. and dell doesn't give out the windows disk to do it.
