I don't think they would. David and Gillian have grown out of Mulder and Scully, and moved on the other things.


And to XFilesfan: They didn't "replace" Mulder and Scully. Dogget and Reyes were different characters than Scully and Mulder were. They weren't meant to take the place of them, just to add on a new unit to the show.

What what WHAT! A new X-Files movie??? When? Where? When? (thinking to myself what cave have I been hiding in... hmm)
Anyways, I agree, they can not make a season 10 for a show that was sadly canceled. They could do another series, but I doubt the original two would do it. Eh, what do I know?

Unfortunately, no. They could start a new show, but it wouldn't be exactly like The X-Files, it would have some twist that would probably ruin the whole show. Kinda like when they replaced Mulder and Scully. It just wasn't The X-Files anymore.
