Mine is "Good Old Days." It's full of some great reading, especially this time of year.

Sapphire...Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I'd send you mine when I'm done with them if that was possible. :)

Years ago, I subscribed to that one. Then I discovered the
Reiman Publications magazines. My favorite is Remenisce
magazine, and Remenisce Extra. These are magazines that are full of contributor content. In that people send in pictures of their favorite times when they were growing up or generally just younger, happier, healthier, etc. And they write a brief description of what was occuring in the photos' they send in. I enjoy seeing the pictures of things I've forgotten. And I have enjoyed seeing how people dressed during certain time periods. Some are even funny compared to later times. There are short stories about experiences and a trivia crossword puzzle, and a hat pin, that is hidden somewhere in the magazine to be found by a potential prize winner.
Occasionally I find Reiman magazines at the clinic where
I go so often. And I will take in magazines others have
passed on to me and make an exchange and leave my
stack there. I feel it's a fair exchange since all magazines
are donated. And then I return the few I take after reading
them. That way magazines can be recycled & read for longer than the expected subscribed time.
They have a website for ordering online and a couple of
other websites for reading stories I found once. I need to
locate that website for additional reading by accepted contributors who write well.

That happens to be mine as well, "Good Old Days". I just haven't been able to get it in the last year as I can't afford it right now. It is a great magazine though. I love reading about the days gone by. They have some great recipes in there too. I will be glad when I can start getting them again. You make me want to get a copy of it now, lol.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Smithsonian Magazine. My husband and I have been subscribing to it for 25 years.

In honor of Thanksgiving Day here in the U.S., here is a link to an article from a past issue:
"Pilgrims' Progress"
We retrace the travels (and travails) of the ragtag group that founded Plymouth Colony, gave us Thanksgiving and laid the foundation for democracy in the New World

I also love Discover magazine, but I guess I'm showing my truly geek side here....who knew a nearly 50 year old woman could be a geek?

Well I've have a subscription to Reader's Digest for over 35 years so I guess that would be my favorite. As such a loyal reader I think I should have won a sweepstakes by now, but I haven't.

I don't have a favourite, I work in a filling station and, when we are quiet, I just read any or all of the magazines off the shelf then put them back.
Thank God I don't have to pay for them. It would cost a fortune!

I like Computer Active - I don't read all of it, but always find some helpful snippets of advice, and have learnt a lot about computing.
I also read Book Collector - the first love of my life.
