Turn on the TV and watch the Macy's Parade from NY first thing in the morning. Then we go to the high school football game in the morning and play the town's biggest rival. Then we either make a dinner or go to a relative's home. We have turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies, and tons of pies and other desserts. Then we usually visit more relatives and then we nap because the turkey makes you tired. Watch some football on TV. And some of us really brave people go to the midnight madness sales and start shopping for Christmas.

A traditional dessert for the feast is pumpkin pie, with pecan the next favorite one. Since we were always so full from the stuffing on the actual day, we started eating our pies on Wednesday night instead. We seem to enjoy them more and it's a fabulous 'teaser' for the traditional delights to come the next day.

alot of family gathers at someones house(this year my mom and dads) the ladies usually help get everything ready for the meal, the lazy men(lol) usually sit in the living room and watch tv & talk till time to eat, the kids normally play outside, and if cold play inside, then we all gather round the table and give thanks for what we have..then we eat, then usually sit around and visit until time for supper then we all eat left-overs..then help clean-up and go home..its great!
