freezer is too cold, fridge compartment is too warm

make sure the drain is not plugged up. is the fan blocked? in the freezer the fan that blows cold air has a chute that channels some of the air down to the fridge part. If the chute is blocked no cold air can reach the fridge. Also, clean the coils... either behind or under the fridge. this helps ALOT and should be done every month or 2.

on my 1 year old Maytag refrigerator the fan quit blowing

froze the freezer - and the fridge was 55 degrees

was just out of 'warranty' - glad I purchased the extended

total would have been $130 for the service call
