i have test tomorrow and i dont know what is difrence in between both of them.plz help me.

MS Word is a word processing application. You use it primarily to type text information in the form of letters on blank pages.

MS Excel is a spreadsheet application. It displays information in cells that are arranged in rows and columns. It performs calculations on the information you enter into the cells. It displays the information in tabular and graphical formats.

In Word, if you type "=1+2" it will display "=1+2", whereas in Excel if you type "=1+2" it will display "3".

ms word usually used for typing documents.. ms excel is spreadsheet.. usually deals with nos and computations.
