yeah, i think so. i don't really have any facts to back it up, but i had a facebook account way before i had a myspace back in the day, and i really didn't find it to be all that useful. i mean, yeah, you can talk to people you already know but on myspace you can meet more people, and it seems more organized.. also you are constantly being introduced to new music!! I love finding new bands and myspace is so perfect for that. I'm also an artist so I have an artist page, and it was so easy to upload songs and share them with everyone! I don't know, I just really like myspace.. i know some people critique the "social" websites in general, but I definitely don't get the hype about facebook. It seems way more narcissistic than myspace, too.. people are constantly updating their pictures, updating their books, their movies, their opinions, their IQs, places they've been, etc... i mean it gets seriously ridiculous!! :)

I'm not a fan of any of those social network sites, but it seems to me that Facebook is the least useful. From what I can tell, you can only connect with people through very limited networks, such as geographicals location and schools. I really do not see the appeal to Facebook at all. =\

I wouldn't say it's overrated. It's a pretty cool site. I'm not sure why it got so much attention over other sites like Yuniti ( http://yuniti.com ), but it is a great site.
The only think that kinda sucks about Facebook is that it is a bit plain.

I like Facebook. I use it regularly. It allows me to keep in contact with friends who don't live near me, and it fits my lifestyle because I'm a high-tech kind of gal.
