Guitar Hero game vs. package deal?
I am going to purchase Guitar Hero for the Wii for my son for Christmas. Since the set that includes the guitar is relatively expensive I was wondering if anyone cantell me how he could play the game with just his controller? It seems that he would be limited to just using the guitar for this game only. Is it worth spending the extra $60 or will the game alone work also?

playing guitar hero without the guitar controller is like flying a plane without wings...

your son will be a hundred times happier with the guitar controller, it's what makes the game so fun

The Guitar is definitely worth the money because it's created solely for that game. Using the Wii controller is possible but it lacks the easiness and the feel for the game.

The game works with the controller, but he will not get the full experience of holding the marvelous piece of plastic that is the guitar controller for guitar hero. He he. Buy the package is my suggestion

I agree. I've played the game and it's a blast but I can't even imagine wanting to play without the guitar controller.
(dad, you'll love it too I bet...)
