I have heard of people that it takes a couple monthes before it will show up on an at home test, how likely is this? I think I am but the tests say neg. I had one that had a line I could barely see, but one after that had no line. I am confused.

I did spot and have very light flow Fri and part of Sat. Nothing Sunday and a little spotting monday. I had one spot of brownish spot this morning, nothing since. The spotting that I did have was not normal, It was a different color and if I put a tampon in the tampon would be full but with just a few spots of blood. The rest would just be I guess liquid absorbed out of my body. This is one reason I am so confused.

I am 7 weeks and still cannot get a possitive hpt or even a possitive urine test at the doctor, I had to get an emergency blood test to find out because I am high risk.

No, it shouldn't take a couple of months for the pregnancy to show up on a home test. They are very accurate a week after your period is missed.

If you've missed your period, and you keep getting negative tests, call your doctor!

Have you missed your period yet? If not, wait til then and if AF doesn't rear her ugly head, then test again. Its not uncommon to get false negatives, it just means your body hasn't produced enough HCG to be detected on the tests. Try Dollar Tree for prego tests, just as accurate and cheaper! Good luck and hopefully you get your BFP (If you want it of course!)

Maybe you should just go to the doctor or Planned Parenthood. Even though their tests are the same, you might have better luck. It sounds like at least one of yours was defective.

I don't know, mine showed positive 5 days before I missed a period. Wait a week and try it again. Good luck!
