I doubt it's that valuable. If it is a shilling or florin (wo shillings) it's next to worthless as it was legal tender until a few years ago when they resized the coin. There are hundreds of Edward VII coins around.

Weigh the coin. If it is silver it is worth 50 cents per gram. If it is copper, it is worth about a quarter.

Does it have a value marked on it? if not, it could be a medal, or medallion.
