My dad wants to run my grandma's truck back over to her house so it will be there because he bought pipes to put underground for maintenance work at her house!!! He wants me to go with him but i'm in my Pajamas its 11:07 on the East Coast right now!! I don't want to go anywhere. If I tell him he'll be mad and say why not nothing better to do than play on that laptop!! And he's been sober for a month after dealing with his son's 12th year death anniversary and my maternal grandpa's death. Please help!! Thanks!!

Hope you're wearing flannel PJ's. Get your clothes on and give your Dad a hand. You don't have school tomorrow. What if your car won't start on Friday night when your out with your friends, will Dad put some pants on and help you out?

Just throw on some jeans and go with dad.
Take the time during the drive to talk with him. Tell him you're proud of him for being sober a month.

Will it really hurt you to throw on some clothes and ride over to your grams house w/ your dad? It sounds to be like he's trying really hard to stay sober. He may just want your company. He could probably use all the support he can get.

I'd say just go....what can it hurt? if your just gonna stay in the car, no one will see you in your pj's anyways. Even if you see your grandma, I'm sure she won't care your in your pjs. Besides he may want someone to talk to since all these anniversaries of everyone's deaths are right about now. If your really going to go to bed, then just say your going to bed....but I'd just go with him for the ride.
