It was 1963. I was in 10th grade and home from school that day. I was listening to the radio and they broke in with the news that the President had been shot. I told my mom and she turned on the TV. When they announced that Kennedy died, my mom started crying. I'll never forget that whole week.

It was in 1963 and yes I do remember though I was very young, only seven. I was in my home in Europe in the living room where the TV was. I remember staring at the TV then at the rug on which I was standing, I will never forget the pattern in the rug. It is a very vivid moment in my life.

It was 1963. I was home from second grade, recovering from the flu. When I heard the news, I felt sick again.

I saw Lee Harvey Oswald get it on live TV. My reaction? "That's what you get!"
