it's like one big urinal, and all the guys pee in it at the same time. Instead of having a bunch of urinals, on the wall there is a (usually) metal wall, with a trough at the bottom, guys pee on the wall, and it falls into the trough.
These troughs are smellier than urinals, and also, you have to watch out for splash back. they are less private than a urinal.
