Not to confuse you, but the santa that you see at the mall is not the real santa. BUT, they are elves for the real santa. And YES, your parents DO have connections with santa. Any one who says that santa doesnt exist needs to get a life. Santa stopped coming to their house because they stopped beleiving. If you beleive, then santa will come to your house and give you presents. It's more of a mutual trust contract that your parents have with santa.

all rumors that say that santa knows when your naughty or nice are all complete horse-hockey. Santa doesnt have time to check up on so many kids, BUT he does have enough time to take your name off the 'nice' list when he gets an e-mail from your parents saying you were bad.

People say santa doesnt exist because they say "how is it possible for a fat, white guy to go around the earth in one night without use of any kind of modern technology?" There are two combacks to this question. First of all, there's these things called time zones. If santa were to go counterclockwise(west) around the earth, he would have a lot more time to spent in each time zone, rather than just one hour. The second thing is relegion. Not ever body in this world is christian, so that saves santa a lot of time as well.

All in all, there is a santa. BUT ONLY IF YOU BELIEVE! Santa is out there, no matter what anyone says, BUT it's your job to say four simple words. "I Believe In Santa!" Merry Christmas.

Read this. A little girl wrote a letter to the New York Sun in 1897 asking your same question. Here is the answer they gave her. And I believe in Santa Claus too. Don't ever lose faith in the things that are magical and wonderful and lovely in this world.

Is There a Santa Claus?
From the Editorial Page of The New York Sun,
written by Francis P. Church, September 21, 1897

We take pleasure in answering thus prominently the communication below, expressing at the same time our great gratification that its faithful author is numbered among the friends of The Sun:
"Dear Editor--I am 8 years old.
"Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus.
"Papa says, 'If you see it in The Sun, it's so.'
"Please tell me the truth, is there a Santa Claus?
Virginia O'Hanlon
115 West Ninety-fifth Street
Virginia, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the scepticism of a sceptical age. They do not believe except they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men's or children's are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no child-like faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies! You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the chimneys on Christmas eve to catch Santa Claus, but even if you did not see Santa Claus coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that is no sign that there is no Santa Claus. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.
You tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived, could tear apart. Only faith, fancy, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.
No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives, and he lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Different people have different beliefs. Like the tooth fairy. Some people are like in High School and they still believe in the tooth fairy. You can believe in Santa if you want to. No harm there. But if you really want to know if Santa is real or not, I would have to say "No". The REAL Santas are the people who give you presents. Like your parents, family members, friends.

Honestly, the man you see at the malls is what St. Nick must have looked like when he was alive, but that was a long time ago.
What he did was give presents to other people in his village and it really meant a lot to the people, so even after he passed away they kept his legend alive by pretending to be St. Nick, a.k.a. Santa Claus and did what he used to do.
It is just more fun to give credit for something you did to someone else.
and to be honest, if your kid is asking for something that is completely unreasonable, you can say something like, "I don't think Santa can do that this year," or whatever.
Yes, you can call it lying, but please don't be angry at anyone because of it; it is all meant in good fun.

I believe that Santa Claus represents the good-
will and kindness of mankind. I believe that
the symbol of caring for others is Santa Claus
so yes, dear, Santa is real if you believe in being
nice to others and caring about other people.
I am 51 years old and I still believe in Santa Claus.
Keep on believing dear. It doesn't hurt anyone.

This is not a good question to ask because of many contradictions in beliefs, but I think that people should have the freedom to believe in what they want to...
If you enjoy the idea of Santa Claus being real. then stick with it.
The only one that can make your decisions is you.

Hope my answer helped.

Santa is real. That's a fact, I'm sure there are many kids who will tell you he is a lie, and they are right. Santa is only real if you believe in him, and they don't, so to them his spirit died, but his spirit lives on in all children who believe, I believe in santa, and I'm a teen, so his spirit is still in my heart.

Yes indeed. How much Santa is real depends greatly on our age. If you are a kid, Santa is 100% real. If you are a grown up, the closest thing to Santa, you will fin it at thebenjamins101.blogspot.com
