I didn't even notice that. Like someone else said, it would be coverup they used, because even though they look fake, they are in fact real tattoos. I don't know why they would cover them though.
Interview from Soap Opera Digest --
Digest: Tell us about the two tattoos you have on your upper arms.
Duhon: One is a Texas flag and this [phrase] is Latin for "The Truth" and the other is an American flag with Romans 12:21 which is, "Be not overcome by evil but overcome evil with good."

They are his real tattoos and they have showed them before, I remember when he and Lulu had the cookout, they were plainly shown. I did notice that they were gone the other day and I don't see why they would cover them now after showing them before.

Yes! I noticed, and was kinda wondering about that too. I remember when he got wounded during that one shipment, and Lulu was at his apt. taking care of him. He had a tattoo then, but not now? Kinda funny...

I think the tattoos belong to the actor, not the character, and the wardrobe department decided to cover them up. They were pretty cartoony looking.

OMGsh I can't believe I didn't notice that! LOL
They were fake anyway. You could tell all the time. I guess they just didn't feel like repainting them, or they just forgot.

The writers and whoever else never think about that kind of stuff. They obviously are not real.

i don't know. I couldn't watch today but if his tattoos were gone it probably means they aren't real and are just there for his character. Probably washable.
