I'm not married yet, but will be getting married in Oct. '08. We started out as co-workers on an ambulance (he is a paramedic, I'm an EMT). Then he became partnered with one of my best friends on the ambulance, so we started hanging out, and became really good friends. I do think the bond is even stronger, because of that, and I also think it makes us more comfortable around each other.

My wife and I couldn't stand each other when we first cross paths, but as time went by and we got to know each other we fell in love and never look back.

Now she is my best friend and lover and we have been together almost 6 year's I can't even think of how my life would be with out her and my three children.

Our life together is still as strong as the first day we fell in love!!

My husband has been in my life since I was 13 years old. (now 32). He was my best friends older brother (3 years older). I lost my virginity to him. The relationship ended though I still saw him because I was friends with his sister. We saw each other on some holidays and other special occasions and had good conversations. We dated again when I was in my early 20's and married. (we are still married today).

well, my husband and I have been married for 3 yrs... I know people say there's no such thing as love at first sight, but I loved him the moment I saw him. : ) He claims the same but I don't believe him, lol anyways, we started off as friends, he'd give me a ride to work, we'd stop for something to eat sometimes after work, then we started dating. We dated for 9 months before he proposed, then we got married just over a year later. Three yrs later....here we are now. That's that! : )

I'm married - and we did NOT start as friends. I don't even really think men and women can be friends without some sort of romantic tension.

He asked me out, and from the beginning it was very clear that we were dating.

Of course, now he is both my best friend and my husband!

You are reaching for the secret too soon. Take your time growing up and cross that bridge when you get to it.

Good luck.
