I'd say the biggest surprises are Derrick Anderson or Bret Favre.

Cleveland has really been playing good this year. The real surprise was how amazing Anderson is, but even as a whole team they have been doing great. Thier defense is better than it has been in more than a decade.
This may be the first season where I don't turn on the game every Sunday preparing for a loss...

I am going to say the San Francisco 49ers. Just on the fact on how bad they are. People around here thought that the Niners were going to the Playoffs. Alex Smith was the next link in the QB chain, etc, etc..
Nobody thought that it would be like this. This was a team on the upswing, now they look worse than 3 years ago.

I think the biggest suprise is how Steve McNair lead the Ravens to I think a 14-2 season last year. Now he is doing so pitifull, the Ravens are 4-6 and he loses his spot to KYLE BOLLER! Steve's average pass is 5 yds. Absolutely terrible.

I am happily surprised by the Packers this year, but my biggest surprise was how the Lions came out of the box, at least early in the year.
I am surprised by how bad the Saints are and how inconsistent the Chargers are.

I think people were very surprised that the Chargers aren't doing better...there seemed to be very high expectations at the beginning of the NFL season.
