about trees they are the ones in my yard that bear the fruit
of my labor not that I do not believe in Its season
its a Time for lights it seems to sparkle the glow of
the white Snow and warms the season as joy for Children
in the fairy tales and Santa's of their innocence in life
Not so Bad as in the back of my mind Think we become
as in that manger visiting Chris or is it Cris at that door
baring gifts yes i celebrate the Light s and everyone
rushing in the Warmth of the Cold and i wish i can light all my trees in the Orchard as to keep them as warm
as coming Easter they will bare me the fruit of life,,
as they become alive again as if Christmas all over again
in the lights of the SUN
Not one tree a whole lot I had Planted,
Just lights and Red bouquets of Poinsettia's,, on my porch

artificial because we live down under so it will be summer time when Christmas arrives. Can't keep a Christmas tree alive in the summer heat. This is my third Christmas here and I have never seen a Christmas tree lot like in the states and I miss it so much. I had to sneak out last year and clip some pine branches off the of Domain (Queen's property) in order to have the smell in the house but boy did they dry out quickly.

fake.....against my better judgement! I have always had real ones growing up and this is the first year that it will be an artificial tree. All I have to say is it better look damn good and I will have to get som really good smelly candles to make it smell like christmas in the house.

Artificial. I am allergic to the pine needles. So
is my daughter and my husband which is a bummer since I love the smell of Christmas pine trees in my home.

I did both last year!
I'm allergic to the real thing, so I had an artificial tree indoors.
On my porch, I decorated a real tree with popcorn and paper ornaments, and let the cats have their way with it.

Real every year! I cannot stand artificial and I think it is a disgrace to my own family's traditions to get something plastic.
In fact, I have three real trees every year!!

We always have an artificial tree for safety reasons (drying out and fire hazard) but they always look natural. You get what you pay for and I just bought a new one after 14 years of having the other one (it was expensive) and we got one of the mountain pine pre-lit trees with 600 lights ($150.00) and I just decorated it today and it looks like it came out of a display window. Actually, if it had cost $40.00, it's all about how you decorate it and put your heart into it to make it beautiful. My most beautiful tree is a 2ft pre-decorated fiber optic tree that my mother had in the nursing home before she passed away and it sits in my TV room and it cost a whopping $10.00.
