Depends on how the conversation goes. Usually, there are enough clues for me to get some recognition. If not, then I ask where we met.
I see a lot of people in their homes and often cannot place them out of context. After all, I'm there to see their home, not necessarily them.

Thats happenned to me before. There was a girl named Sara that was in like in 1 of my classes or something when i was a jr in high school (i graduated 04). I saw her at a local store and shes all "hey, ****** how have you been? what have you been up to since we graduated?" Im like... um.. then i figured out who it was but it was weird cuz we hardly ever talked or anythihng.
