if so then could you explain what the animal is thinking when an owner beats an animal yet the animal comes right back to the owner

cuz im pretty sure its just because it was raised by the owner and thats where its food it

not because they have feelings

Feelings? Yes, Human feelings? No...
The whole concept of animals having the same feelings as humans can be utterly harmful to them.. For instance, a lot of people post here about their cats peeing in odd places and almost every single time someone responds that the cat must be mad about something.. How does that hurt the cat? Well, first off, it gives someone a false solution so that they no longer look for a problem.. They don't get the cat tested for a UTI, they don't check and see if maybe the cat is having some other problem. They don't find a litter the cat will prefer and so on.. Eventually, they just get rid or the cat, often with a remark along the lines of it being the cat's choice to pee everywhere and lose it's home.. "Oh, it had it's chance."

Or, "My pet really likes his food, look how happy he looks when he eats it." Guess what, your pet can't read a label.. He doesn't know if you're feeding him poison. You're his pack leader and you're giving it to him so he eats it like instinct tells him to do..
Or, "My cat really likes to go outside.. He's so smart he knows to stay out of the street." If I could count how many times I heard that only to hear the cat got hit by a car not too long after.. If they were all that smart, there wouldn't be ten dead cats on my drive home.. That's where it hurts animals..
It's not that they don't have feelings, they have DIFFERENT feelings..
It's just painful to watch people attribute the same exact feelings and thought processes to animals ESPECIALLY when doing so hurts the animals involved..

Yes, they have feelings. Have you ever yelled at an animal and see its reaction? I believe they have souls, too. If you think that humans do and that we're souls with bodies and not bodies with souls, then animals must be the same.

I know that animals have feelings.
I'm not sure if any of us have souls, but if we do, than so do the animals.
