When you were at your lowest point in life, and you were the most depressed that you had ever been, how did you bring yourself out of it?

I found someone who had walked in my shoes but was happy now. Find a support group that understands you, if only a online Yahoo group.

When I was in high school I was miserable.

Honestly, the only way I got out of it was when I got out of high school. I also chose my friends wisely, listened to good music, stopped drinking, and made my life how I wanted it. My parents, my friends, everyone was pressuring me to do this or that and finally I just decided to do what I wanted to do.
