okay im a 9th grader and i loove vampyre/werewolf novels. i prefer young adult
ones i have read so don't recomend are
-the hole twilight series
-the morganville vampire series
-moon called and blood bound
-peeps, the last days
-in the ofrrests of the night
-tantalize
-blood and chocolate
-house of night series
i currently have a great and terrible beuty and the silver kiss, but it won't take long for me to finish them so any suggestions?!!?!?

OMG! I can't believe any Darren Shan isn't on your list he has cirque du freak (about vampires has 12 books) and demonata ( which currently has 5 or 6) he is a excellent author and could probablly be called the master of modern teenage horror novels he is mainly popular in England, and Brittain but his books are extremely popular at my school there are great books and you would surely get a kick out of them but i have to warn you they are gruesome but i am sure you are all about that so give them a look!

My niece reads darren shan's Cirque Du Freak series. Also Vampire Academy by Richelle mead.

Read The Last Vampire books by Christopher Pike. I read them when I was in middle and high school and I remember loving them.The titles (in order) are The Last Vampire, Black Blood, Red Dice, Phantom, Evil Thirst, and Creatures of Forever.

I've heard about the Nightwatch series, which was written by a Russian. I'm not sure if they really qualify as "young-adult", though. Maybe a bit older.

the books by darren shan are amazing. The first one is called Cirque Du Freak. Be warned- they are addictive.

Bloodline is about vampires and I think you will like it. Another good book is called Oh My Goth. Even though it's not about vampires, I think you will like it.
