If yes why if not why?

Xmas is a religious holiday and a federal/national holiday so just because thanxgiving is a LEGAL holiday doesn't meant it isn't religious. I think it is religious as people give thanks to the stick boy. Who are they thankful too if not "god"?

no... its a holiday of white people using colored folk-- a celebration of the beginning of the killing of indians if u may

Id love to try to sum it up and make it sound like I had all the answers, but I just saw a special on the history channel and it was a real eye opener.

No. Thanksgiving is a traditional holiday. It has nothing to do with religion. It started back when the Pilgrims wanted to give thanks to the Native American, Squanto. So they set aside a day to give him thanks and have a feast.
