I fell asleep. The dentist said I was the only person who had ever done so. My dad's best pall was also our family dentist growing up. They used to laugh & joke when he worked on me. I can remember the dentist asking me "do you want novicane?' I answered yes and he said "you don't need it" and they kept on with their conversation while drilling out my cavity.

Taking my kids there when they were little and watching them get a toy gift out of the toy box and a new toothbrush. They loved going to the dentist so it made it fun for all of us.
Once I had to go to an oral surgeon and hold my mouth open without talking for 2 hours. I told my friends that and they said " that must have been really hard for you".

We used to get little spiders and things made out of pipe cleaners after going to the dentist when we were little, that was fun getting them. but thats all, dentist does not = fun...

I haven't been to the dentist since i was 7 years old.
The most fun was when all the wrenching and poking was over.

Well I just went today and I would have to say making this old lady mad by talking really loud and walking around ughh that lady started giving me some dirty looks ever since she walked in the door.

I used to be a Dental Nurse...and the dentist was soo hilarious - he was always making me laugh - and doing silly things - like wearing balloons as earings...I'll never forget those days :-)
It made the blood and gore more bearable!

I guess waking up in a different world telling the nurses I loved them. It wasn't fun though, and I quickly understood everything was wrong. I don't like the drugs they gave me.

i was on laughing gas because I was getting fillings and the doctor was trying to make a new mold of my teeth. He told me to bite down hard on the mold, and I did. His hand was still in my mouth, and I bit him. The assistant couldn't stop laughing.
