Bon Voyage just allows you to plan trips (book flights and whatnot) to different vacation spots. I think you can go looking for treasures (both buried and unburied) at these places too. My wife met with some ninja at these places and he taught my wife teleport (which is just an extremely faster way to get across the lot).

Seasons, as the name proclaims, provides all four, lovely seasons of the year. You can set the seasons to make it permanently winter or fall or mix it up to whatever you like. There's also body temperature that rises and falls not only with the temperature outside, but also the actions you take. For instance, if you are working out for awhile, your temperature will go up. Or if you're cuddling up next to that special someone, depending on the intensity of the situation, your temperature will rise too.

All in all, they both are pretty good and it's a tough decision but I'd go with Seasons because it makes it more enjoyable knowing that your sims have the ability to make snow angels in the snow.

I don't have Seasons, but I have bon Voyage and I love it! It's fun taking your sims on vacations. And you get three locations to choose from, a tropical island, camping, or the orient. And with each vacation, you have new people to meet, new obstacles, and new activities. It's great. The only drawback, is the game contains a lot of bugs, but Maxis is working on fixing them. They've already released one patch, and are working on another.

With Seasons, you get to finally experience all four seasons, and your sims can grow their own gardens.
