The average salary for a baseball player in America is a few million, which is too high to simply play a game.

I would think that it would be none of our business, but it would depend on the sport, and maybe even how much a player asks for, and if the GM of that team will agree to it, but it might be too much moeny for them, even if the don't play every day, or like a starting pitcher and play every 4 to 5 days or even more.
