Hey i have a Toshiba satellite m 45 laptop, and i have a brand new samsung flat screen tv...and i was wondering what would i need so i can hook up my laptop to the tv so i can surf the web and watch movies from my laptop on the tv...What do i need and about how much does it cost ...thank you

Whether it would be worth connecting to the TV is very much an open question.

If you can connect it using VGA then it might be worth it but if you have to fall back to composite or S-Video you won't be surfing the web on your TV because the image quality will just be too crap.

If you've got an LCD or plasma then the TV probably has decent resolution, it's just that the typical TV input probably won't be of much use for anything other than low quality stuff.

Plug in u laptop to tv,so it read TV, then
go to
start, then
control panel
then
intel(r) extreme graphics
on devices folder click:
intel dual display clone
then: apply
it should show on laptop and tv
check also in manual for tv what to swich to

it worked for me, and was perfect picture

Does the Tv have a DVI plug in? if it does you can buy an VGA adapter to DVI.
