I am having troubles finding a carrier. I don't want one that charges a daily use fee. I just want to pay by the minute. I just want a cheaper phone for the winter.

you can get prepaids anywhere, best buy, circuit city, meijer, wal-mart, just about anywhere. I'd recommend the AT@T Cingular ones, I had one and the cost for minutes is pretty good.

I will say this from personal experience....My husband and I use Cingular prepaid, and they have been the best for us so far, and we live in the Indiana area.
