i loved the movie interview with the vampire, im in 9th grade and i was wondering if the book is young adult. i don't care about gore just if there are any sex scenes the movie didn't put in.

The book is a bit different than the movie.
I doesn't have any sex in it. The rest of the series, does mention it (in the form of slash or homoeroticism, which ever you want to call it).

btw, Queen of the Damned is a much better book than movie, just be sure to read The Vampire Lestat first.

I read the whole vampire series but I didn't read this one because of the movie. The series don't have sex in it per say but it does have a lot of homoeroticism in it. It's not a sexually graphic series. All I cant say is read the book and judge it for yourself.
