I have this GWBush doll, you pull it's string and it says: "they hate us for our freedom." Actually, they hate us for our intrusive policies and our greedy ways but it's so much nicer to believe that they hate us for our freedom.

American Tourist are often ranked as the worst in surveys. They are loud, rude, ignore the culture and badly dressed. This is the image that most people see and think of when it comes to Americans.

America funds a lot of terrorist groups, like the Taliban, Al Queada, etc. And it's citizens also do the same, IRA received 90% of there money from Irish Americans in Boston.

Depending on where you are there are also has different opinions:

Middle East - The main problem is that America has funded Israel, considered a terrorist state by most around it, and backed it no matter what.

Europe - There isn't much hate, most Europeans pity Americans. You come from a society that seems almost medieval in the way it looks after its citizens. The biggest problem is the American Attitude that the USA is best and everywhere else is still living in mud huts.

South America - Installation of Mickey Mouse governments.

Africa - Installation of Mickey Mouse governments. Stupid restrictions on aid, George Bush has a policy that HIV drugs will not go to countries that teach contraception instead of abstinence.

The world hates the American government, not necessarily the people. What's wrong with us? Healthcare, President Bush, our education system, the lack of separation between church and state, our immigration crisis, huge gap between rich and poor, our treatment of employees, etc.

I've worked ever since I was 16. Got a bachelor's of nursing and work hard. Since I haven't been with my company for at least 1 year, I have been told my employer will not hold my job if I take time off for pregnancy related complications. I won't qualify for medicaid because I've made too much this year, so once I'm fired I'll have no insurance. Lovely country we live in huh? I work hard all my life, did well in school, and am a legal citizen yet I'll likely be stuck with huge medical bills when I give birth. If I were a migrant worker who is here illegally I could go to a migrant health clinic and get all my healthcare free. America treats her own citizens horribly, you can imagine how we treat others in the world.

There is a lot wrong with the USA. There is a lot of good in the USA as well. The question you ask is not an easy one to answer. I believe our foreign policy and the total disregard for government spending has gotten way out of control and needs to be turned around. Not to mention the personal spending habits of the people. We are a great nation that needs to change focus. If you are old enough to vote you should really check out Ron Paul. He will restore America to it's glory of old. Search for him on You Tube and watch the debate on Nov 28th. Once you find him and do some research you will be amazed.

THE REALITY is since about 6 or 7 years ago everywhere you go, someone attempt to hurt you or kill you. Americans in general haven't done anything wrong, Bush has. In some places being an American may be the worst thing in the world. It is because of the "false" promotion politicians have sold to the rest of the world.

People around the world hate the US because -

We are glutenous

We supply Israel with over a billion a year in Military support to bomb and kill Palestinians .

We install puppet Governments in countries where the people want nothing more then to live . Of course the majority of these countries have some resource the US wants .

We try to control other countries via the UN .

What we says goes and if you don't like it - we will invade you and destroy your country . It's the attitude of the majority of Americans .

We have supermarkets open 24 hours a day , the freedom to go anywhere in America at any time and more food then 5 countries combined ! Yet the people are depressed ? Most people outside the US , see this as American ignorance and confusion .

IMHO it is because we are in everyones business. How would you feel if there were Chinese war ships off the coast of Texas, just to 'protect' us? That is what we are doing to other countries. I think it's time we bring our people home, worry about domestic issues, and stop being the worlds police force.

Conservatives passing themselves off as the voice of America.

True, a lot of people see us as the bully on the playground but no one waits on our every word (at least regular people form other countries). We aren't everything or everyone. There are so many interesting people in the world that we overlook by adapting that attitude.

A lot of people are as proud of their nation as we are of ours. And they should be. I regret that so many of us have a holier than thou attitude about America when we could learn from others; from even the small and powerless nations and people.

i think of he will substitute into president returned wether he's familiar or no longer. you're able to comprehend that there is not any united states of america in the international who chooses their president or king. Its the rich people who do it. Why grew to become into osama killed till now the elections? so as that white people can vote for him. Why is gasoline taking place by surprise? so as that any one can vote for him. Why is he promissing a huge immigration reform till now his term is due? so as that immigrants can vote for him. I mean truly? who's hes best contender?

ok, i am american just before somone says Im jelous of the USA..... Im not..... People hate the USa cause the come in their county and lay their industry on them they didnt ask for, for instance..... things we find good isnt always things others like. People hate that the USA pretends to be the worlds police and all. Of course america is a huge country with alot of power... still i think they wouldnt be as hatet if they would just let other cultures be like they are...... be how they have been hundreds of years before....and of course having Bush as a president doesnt help....and i dont even blame him.... he is way to dumb himself. its the people behind him. And they are doing bad things..... not only... but also.... we go into irak killing so many innocent people. of course afganistan (taliban) hit WTC. was very bad....... but yeah it was afganistan and al qaida. not irak. never made sense to me but oh well...... they got saddam... and thats the ONLY good thing they have done.... still wont REALLY make up to the thousand deaths of innocent people and most of all childre. I know alotta soldiers..... in fact i am from a army family. Wierd but i didnt choose. but just put it this way....... countries like irak are like 3 year old kids playin with their toys (they have the oil) and a big bully 8 years... bigger much more powerful wants the toy (oil)..... 3 year old gets beat up..... 8yr old (USA) gets toy..... but you know that 3 year old will swear revenge and fight for it. Everything started with the oil....... and its sad people have to die over it
