No. We SHOULD have that right, but we dont.
Congress is supposed to represent us and do what the people wish, but they dont do that either. We have lost any form of respresentative government. The sooner we realize this, the sooner the new revolution can begin.

Yes but it's only effective when the majority agree how it's spent. Thus the reason the government keeps the people divided into a two party system. We're being duped.
On the contrary elections are the only way to have a say in the matter. It's what they do after the elections that stinks. This sadly is our democracy.

It is called the elections system. Whether you like it or not. It is called corresponding with your Congressman and Senator. Unless you do more then moan on here they will do it the way they want and the Lobby folks want.
Is that the answer you were looking for? Not much good asking a question and only looking for a specific answer.

Sorry but that is your only true control.

Once you vote a congressman into office you have given him your vote on how to spend your money.

You can call his office, you can write him letters, you can email him/her.

But The only real control you have is at the polls.

Not really. You may get to vote for specific things at a state level but not really too much federally. I never signed up to pay for millions of illegal aliens.

The people aren't consulted, that's why we're nine trillion dollars in debt.
