Towering trees surround the sides of my tree fort. Forest sounds sing me to sleep when I stay the night in my favorite place. Occasionally, when the moon is out, I hear the movement of animals in the brush. In a flash I'm awake and sitting up. When the noise ceases, I can sleep again. The only time I can't go back to sleep is when the coyotes laugh at me from the hills behind our property. Laughing coyotes can make any kid's mind play tricks.

Gregory is my beautiful gray Persian cat. He walks with pride and grace, performing a dance of disdain as he slowly lifts and lowers each paw with the delicacy of a ballet dancer. His pride, however, does not extend to his appearance, for he spends most of his time indoors watching television and growing fat. He enjoys TV commercials, especially those for Meow Mix and 9 Lives. His familiarity with cat food commercials has led him to reject generic brands of cat food in favor of only the most expensive brands. Gregory is as finicky about visitors as he is about what he eats, befriending some and repelling others. He may snuggle up against your ankle, begging to be petted, or he may imitate a skunk and stain your favorite trousers. Gregory does not do this to establish his territory, as many cat experts think, but to humiliate me because he is jealous of my friends. After my guests have fled, I look at the old fleabag snoozing and smiling to himself in front of the television set, and I have to forgive him for his obnoxious, but endearing, habits.

I see birds everywhere and never pay attention to them, until my instructor asked the whole class to go outside and observe nature, write adescription of what we have of anything about nature, although I can’tdecide what part of nature to describe;this big black crow caught my attention. She was on top of the cafeteria building standing; the color of her feathers is jet black; the color of her feet, and eyes are all black. Her bill is long and black. In addition to that, I also notice that her tail feathers aresquare-cut. These birds are so beautiful; I wish I can own one.
I am walking looking for something to write about, I see this small tree in the middle of the beautiful green grass. The tree is covered with leaves on top. I think how this small tree carries so much weight and still can give shadow to people. Nobody knows how much pain the tree has, people only care about not getting burned form the sun. People prefer the tree to get burned from the sun and still be strong. The lesson that the tree taught me was to treat nature with respect and take the time to admire nature.

Gray clouds washed the sky clean of any hint of blue while a darker gray Pacific raised its lumpy back where little white horses galloped. The wind, nearing whole gale force, threatened to push the confused surf all the way up to the highway's edge. I love gray on gray with splashes of white. The scene, to me, was breathtaking.

Kite flying is quiet and peaceful. Like sailing a boat. No need for technology, just hold on tight and let it soar gracefully.

If this is for homework... I am not going to do it. Sorry, but you are supposed to do YOUR OWN homework. If you don't, you will regret it later.
