This won't work because everyone will pick their own state. Nobody is going to give you facts on WHY they like it.. except for that it's their home.

If you plan to move to the U.S. -

It depends on what YOU like. If you like colder weather.. maybe the northern states are better for you. If you hate it, definitely choose one of the southern states.

Then there's also whether you like the city, country-side, or suburbs.

They're so many factors. You have to go through them all and then search (maybe on Google) to find the best one for you.

Best is a very very relative term. Best in what sense?

Oregon used to be a beautiful, unspoiled state until the logging interests were allowed to totally destroy all the forests; but there has never been any decent employment or way to earn a living there unless you were wealthy by birth or started a company that made a fortune; and wages have always been below par

California has many beautiful, serene and pleasant places to live, but taxes are way too high and the government is very dysfunctional

Nevada has low taxes but doesn't have a lot of things to recommend it

do you like cold or hot climates?
this is a very hard question to answer.

California
And i'm not just saying that because i live here (its the 4th state i've lived in)

1. The weather is amazing. only snows in a few places, so its never too cold, and it doesnt get to hot either, only a few get above 100 during the summer.
2. We live by the coast, and the beaches are amazing.
3. We are practically our own country. We are open to so many different ideas and culture.
4. Best of all, you get the bragging writes of living in Cali.
5. There are many more, i'll let the other californians add on....

the united states. Democratic status. grew to become into the source of the communicate at Valley Forge. The founding fathers have been democratic. the individuals who needed a republic merely approximately starved the completed American military out to coach their component. Then it grew to become into set up as a democracy for the individuals and Thomas Jefferson ended up speaking lots approximately it. Then those losers noted as the puratins got here in, representing the republic (huge businesses). They fought for merely approximately a hundred years to opposite the form and all of the equivalent rights stuff. Now you notice it, they nonetheless attempt to make it a nazi or king james state. yet maximum of what they have completed is public. because of the fact of their joker mentality, now many extensive financial marketplace based entities have greater potential then people and easily contradict what usa stands for. usa is meant to be a democracy, yet because of the corrupt idiots who took unrestrained movements. some issues like the federal government. even even with the shown fact that they are an business enterprise. As a ruling physique. that is basically a mish mash of fantastic people and grimy people who help business enterprise over people.

If you're talking about states with money and with attractions, it's definitely between California, Hawaii, Florida, and New York!

well sir,

you are going to get a lot of different opinions, but i do believe texas is the best state. i moved here from chicago, illinois, and of you can stand a little humidity, then you'll fall in love with it just like i did. but the spring season is nice, and we sat outside watching the stars on new years night!!! if you are coming with only a little bit of money, texas is the place to come, because everything here is much cheaper.including big or small homes for a cheap price! and Sugar Land, Texas is in one of the top 5 safest places to live. i live in Humble, Texas, which is right outside of Houston, Texas and it is gorgeous!!! if you come to Texas, you will not be disapointed! i would suggest Humble, Houston, Sugar Land or The Woodlands to live in. Or Kingwood. Texas all the way!! and if you already know english, that's great. because that's what every state speaks! good luck with your choice! ( come to Texas!) below are sources of houston, sugar land, the woodlands , humble, and kingwood in texas! enjoy!

Arizona in the winter, Washington (pacific northwest) in the summer.

And by the way, did anyone notice that the guy who said "Texas" got his constitution-hating raggedyass drummed off the answer page? Go whine to monkey boy, loser. If I was Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'd INVADE texas with the california national guard and take back the money they stole from us with that enron crap a few years back. Texas doesn't even belong ON EARTH! to say nothing of the United States.

That's a very broad question - all states have their good and bad points.
There are so many factors to consider: climate, people, crime, taxes, entertainment, the legal system, employment, etc.

( You realize that most everyone who answers will say that their state is the best, don't you? )

Since when is NYC a STATE ?? ?? yikes
