I'm looking for some sites on these things, preferably aimed at older high school kids, as well as new comers into scientific theory. All I could find was definitions of the terms, not the study themselves. So I pulled up a lot of "What is scientific theory" and not a lot of "The scientific theory of this or that is currently...."
Please help!!

Despite the name, metaphysics isn't physics. But perhaps what you're looking for is what's called the philosophy of science. You'll get a feeling for this if you study the early history of science. I recommend the recorded lectures of Dr. Lawrence Principe, produced by The Teaching Company. I have not yet started his series on the History of Science, but his set on Science and Religion was superb.
