O.M.G. yesssss thank you very much for echoing my sentiments.
I can't stand christmas music now since they play it continuously for two months straight.
I guess retailers are preparing for the sale season, and people doing early christmas shopping but seriously they don't need to do it THIS early! I'm just frustrated about the commercialization of christmas in general.
but yeah, COMPLETELY annoying

No, not really. Most people put up decorations for Christmas for Thanksgiving day as well because instead of having to come 2 times to the household, people only come on Thanksgiving to make it simpler, and that it's easier on them. So they don't have to celebrate both holidays at different times, they only celebrate it all together. It's like this, because some people have far away relatives and it's a lot easier on them to come once a year.

I am VERY annoyed by that, it cheapens and diminishes anticipation of Thanksgiving, like the only REALLY important holiday is Christmas. Heck, in some stores, they had Christmas decorations up before Halloween! Grrr...

You bet! It drives me nuts! People around here have had their Christmas lights on their houses lit up for a week or more already! I love Christmas, but Thanksgiving has been slighted for years! Maybe Thanksgiving should be moved to the middle of the summer so it can have some justice?? (No, not really ... but it's a good thought, huh?)

Why are you annoyed by it? I mean I don't think the Christmas season should be half the year but- why do the 2008 cars come out in May of 2007? Who knows, just enjoy the good things in life.

Yeah I am a bit annoyed about that as well and I find it retarded as well simply for the fact that one holiday hasn't even occur ed yet and the stores and companies are already promoting the Christmas holidays. It's ridiculous plus the whole holiday has become so commercialized as well.

Yeah it's annoying when it's all decorated before Halloween but I don't mind right before Thanksgiving...that's when the sales start anyhow.

No, I don't feel that way because business is business and a lot of people like to do christmas shopping early. Before halloween or thanksgiving.

Not quite as annoying as I consider the fat plastic santa that has been on my neighbors roof all year. Our stores put out x-mas decorations about 2 weeks prior to halloween

I am! It really annoys me that the stores practically skip Thanksgiving and move right into Christmas. What's there to look forward to?
