as we all know, thanksgiving is tomorrow, but i just got in a really bad fight with my mom. I tried to use Yahoo Answers to get ideas for a project i have to do (I have to make a model of just about anything i want), but i cant find an idea. my mom thought i was cheating and flipped. i told her i just wanted ideas and she thought that i was getting them from "high school dropouts who intend to have you try to drop out (i go to a really good school, which she holds in really high regard and would probably disown me if i got kicked out...)." Although i know i should probably make up with her cause, one tomorrow's thanksgiving and i should be counting my blessings instead of fuming, and two, she's my mom and although we have fights i should forgive her, but i can't bring myself to cause, well we had a fight... what should i do? and i guess i could use some ideas for my project, if you don't mind... the only rule is it has to relate to western civ and it has to be made of stuff < $100...

I think that you should expalin to your mom the situation.
Make sure that she see's that you deff. were not cheating, You just wanted some ideas. Then let her appologize to you. Because you have nothing to be sorry for. She shouldn't have attomatically assumed that you were cheating.

Calmly explain to your mom, that in fact you are not cheating on your work, you just don't have any idea on what to do with your project. What exactley do you need to do with Western Civil? What pulls you into the project? When I did projects in school I usually took what I liked the most and made something surrounding that.
Also go get your mommy some flowers, and give her a big hug, and tell you you loves her

you should go to your mom and tell her you would like to talk and tell her exactly what is going on, that you just needed ideas, even if you found ideas online you still have to do all the work yourself, thats not cheating. you should both apologize to each other.

you should apoligize to your mom and explain to her why you were on yahoo. shes taking it way out of porportion about you cheating. just explain to her in a polite matter. yes you should just apologize, you only have one mother. also about your project you wernt too descriptive on what you needed help on...good luck..
