Oh my! I could have wrote that. My husband was always running late. So I decided to start telling him, if he didn't know, that we had to be somewhere a half hour to an hour before the actual time. We were then always on time. If he knew what time we had to be there, I left without him if he wasn't ready. I did this several times, just so one of us would be on time. He didn't like that, so now we are rarely late for anything. Also what helps is to have him get ready first. I don't like to get ready to go, then have to wait for someone else. Once I am ready, then I am ready to leave. If none of these suggestions work, then you need to learn how to relax. Just in case. If you know he is making you late, just sit down, close your eyes and breath deep in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth. It will calm you down. Possibly if you stop saying anything to him about being late, he will stop being late. Men are like little kids, reverse psychology works great. God Bless and Good Luck

No, I am totally with you on this one. Being prior military I have had it drilled into my head that on time is late. I want to be everywhere at least 5 to 15 min. early. At about 20 min to the time that I have to leave my house to be anywhere, I start getting antsy and restless to be on my way. It drives my wife nuts. God bless her.

I have a clock in every room in my house bathroom included because I can't stand being late. It drives me crazy when hubby makes us late. Then again if I am not early I am late.

there's a difference in being on time and being impatient. Being on time is just responsible.
If you have 2 cars meet him there.

I hate people who are late. It doesn't speak well for the tardy.
