usually it's written L/100kms, which then it would be the lower number the better. But in your case the higher is better, it would mean the more kms you can do on 1 liter of fuel. So the maximum is best.

In the US, the use mpg (miles per gallon) The higher the number, the better the fuel mileage. So km/L is the same, higher is better.

A high vlaue. That will be the amount of Km that you can go on a liter of fuel.
