How do I change our league from 6 teams making the playoffs to 8.?

if you are the commish, you should be able to make the change by editing the league settings, look on the league home page and you should be able to find the appropriate link to make the change

You're going to change the playoff requirements at the end of the season? Tacky, I wouldn't be happy with you as my commissioner.
