My husband and I are making home made pizza for Turkey day tomorrow instead of turkey. Its just the two of us and turkey is overkill and we have to eat turkey for weeks so we love pizza so we are making gormet pizza that takes serveral hours to prepare. Our families think we are weird do you?

I don't think it weird. It's only you two and why waste turkey that you won't eat. The important part is that you guys will be spending the day together, and you have something to eat.

Heck no,I wish I could eat pizza on Thanksgiving!!!Actually,what I would do is order a couple of pizzas the day before and have a Thansgiving day pizza weekend.YUMMY!!!

nah. Its ok. everyone has their own opinion. Plus, the Pilgrims didn't even eat Turkey at the first thanksgiving.

No not really. I definatley wouldn't do it. I have this thing where all holiday traditions need to be followed. National Ones and Family Ones. Every now and then we add something new which doesn't settle well at first but I get used to it.

Considering one Thanksgiving when I was in high school my dad cooked me and my brother steaks on the grill since Mom was working...far be it from me to criticize. I like the idea.
