is it healthy to drink a protein shake after lifting weights even if I do so a few hours before I sleep?
(I am 20 years old, have good physical condition)

You should always consume a certain amount of protein everyday. The best time to have it is AFTER lifting weights. It gives you that boost after exerting yourself.

I drink protein for breakfast also.

I have a personal trainer, and she says, it is better to drink it before lifting weights. It makes you that much stronger.

no it is good - just watch to see if it keeps you awake.

i find a protein drink real early am helps me to sleep.
