Industrialization is the move away from cottage industry where small shops create small amount of goods to large factories with assembly lines making a large amount of goods.

Even the farms were not immune, for when tractors and other modern equipment came in then there was less need for manual laborers

The effects are both positive and negative. On the positive side, this raises the level of life style, hello 3 TVs 2 Cars. AC Dishwasher ETC.

The negative, higher pollution, congested cities, and other stuff I can not think of at this time.

industrialization occurs when a conutry moves from farming/agriculture [primary sector] to manufacturing in industries [secondary section].
changes like pple living/ moving to cities and looking for jobs there. Less pple farming.
