Yes. In fact, sometimes I think that means more. If you have feelings for someone that you never met in person, that means that you have those feelings based on talking to them, e-mailing them or chatting on-line without the pressures of looks getting in the way. So you're getting to know the 'real' person. I've felt closer to some people I've never met in person than I have with people I've known, in person, for years.

Delilah has a beautiful avatar and must attract male fans. Fr Feck does it for me, with his funny sense of humour but i have a true friend in the name of Scooter. She is a God's send. Helps me out with my problems.

It's entirely possible when people use photographs as their avatars. Take Natty's for example - she looks babeliscious on hers. The only trouble is who is actually behind the avatar?
