I see no reason, why not.... they're putting up some mighty impressive numbers. The Eagles are not exactly having a stellar season, this year.
Patriots 49 Eagles 21

Dallas ran up 38 on the Eagles in Philly, not a reach to say the Pats could end up with 50+ again. Thinking the Eagles will manage around 17-21, my money would be on NE covering the spread.

Hoff that's a stupid answer. I hate the Cowboys more than anyone, but if you say they're no good and try to point out that a team has to stink in order to lose to the Cowboys then............well............... you're just an idiot.
The answer is yes they can. But only because the Patriots are THAT good not because the Eagles are THAT bad. It's not a lock though. Expect the lines to get bigger & bigger as the year goes on and Vegas tries to shift some of the money away from the Patriots.

If Mcnabb plays (and he won't, didn't show up for practice on Wed., Eagles won't risk further injury against an undefeated team) and Mcnabb plays on top of his game, Patriots play a standard game and take out key players at the end, expect Patriots to win 45/24, no cover. If Mcnabb plays and plays anything less than top notch, and Patriots play as expected, take out key players towards end, expect Patriots to win 48/17, cover. If Mcnabb doesn't play (and he won't), and Patriots play half as good as Week 11 (keep key players to end), expect Patriots to win 56/7, cover (withdrawal key players at end), win 56/17, cover...and if Mcnabb doesn't play, and the Patriots play AS good or better than week 11 (keep key players to end), expect the blowout of the year, 60/3 cover, (withdrawal key players towards end), 60/13 cover...with oddsmakers for the first time giving a line more than -30 for any pro-nfl team in Week 13.
********It's official, McNabb is out for Sunday. All signs are pointing to the blowout of the year...Patriots have every reason to play hard this game and go for as many points as humanly possible...It's the last two weeks when they can bench key players and have it locked up for the superbowl...in addition, Brady is going for the ring and is 6-7 touchdowns to reach Payton Manning's record. you don't think these quarterbacks have ego's? My bet is not only will they cover, but slaughter...make the game against Buffalo look like a picnic....69-3 or worse, no joke.*****

a 22.5 point spread is 42-14 with 10 seconds left and a meaningless touchdown to end the game covers. That is SCARY!!!!!!! They can ,of course. If I put money dow, they won't.

This will be like taking candy away from a kid with or without Mcnabb.Pat's will crush the Eagles and the Eagles will use as an excuse that Mcnabb, didn't play.

No, but they will still be butchered, and I'm a big Eagles fan! You can't deny the greatness of the Patriots.

Take away Donovan McNabb, they're pretty easy to beat. How many points are the allowing a game? The Patriots will dominate this weekend against them.

Yes. In fact, Vegas oddsmakers don't know what to do with the Patriots line anymore. I've heard most casinos in Vegas are leaving the game off the board until gameday, esp. because Mcnabb is uncertain if he's going to play. If Mcnabb doesn't play, don't be suprised if the line jumps to 24.5 or more.
