My friends and I want to go to the movies this friday but my says no because it's black friday, but I don't see why this would affect the movies....help please!

The day after Thanksgiving, also known as Black Friday, yields the biggest day of movie ticket sales of the year. Many people start off the season of buying for Christmas and they also spend their time at the movie theatres.

Take a hint from the person who told you not to do it - they know what they are talking about.

It shouldn't. Most big sales occur in the morning on Black Friday. Plenty of time to watch a movie in the afternoon.

No. I don't think so. The traffic may be bad in general... but I don't think the movies tend to have particularly large sales on "Black Friday."
