There is NO important reason or excuse for a husband or a wife to take a lover while in a marriage. Why get married if either of them needs to take a lover?
Too many people today think marriage is disposable like everything else they have grown up with.

Didn't you mean to say, a lover besides the husband? Because that's what I'm pretty sure you must have meant. And in response to your corrected question, my response would be, because women get bored with only one dude and some dudes suck in bed. I'm guessing you might be among the ranks of the latter?

Honey, there are more reasons not to. Bringing in another person to share your relationship will only bring trouble. The sexual bond between a man and his wife or a wife and her husband is not to be taken lightly. That is one of the most precious thing you have together. Protect it.

There is no other reason. Marriage is a promise, a bond between two ppl who love one another. Whether you both agree to go out of the marriage is still adultry and WRONG!
