One with a simile, one with a metaphor, one with at least two examples of imagery and one just as my favorite. I don't have a favorite so does anyone have any to recommend to me?

I'm 12 by the way. thanks alot.

Ok, you are 12. Try the following poems:
**
Simile (as....like):

Joyce Kilmer. 1886–1918

Trees

I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day, 5
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain. 10

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Metaphor (African Ewe Traditional sarcastic poem demeaning white people):

A BABY IS A EUROPEAN
A baby is a European
He does not eat our food:
He drinks from his own water pot.
A baby is a European
He does not speak our tongue:
He is cross when the mother understands him not.
A baby is a European
He cares very little for others:
He forces his will upon his parents.
A baby is a European
He is always very sensitive:
The slightest scratch on his skin results in an ulcer.

Imagery poem:

A guy on the moon who is naked

A guy on the moon who is naked
really is quite very cold
he likes to sing songs while he's shakin'
so his buttocks won't grow any mold.

Dog on the Moon

The dog on the moon who has a very big snout
sometimes makes very brown stuff
like chocolate and wood.

His favorite snack is stuff like bones
but also he looooves very delicious moon rocks
but his especially favorite treat for special occasions is
bone cake! Bone cake tastes very good for dogs but tastes
very very very very VERY bad for people.

It tastes like frosting like with BONES.
It does not taste like ice cream and chocolate sauce with
a cherry on top. It does not taste like my mom hugging me.

The dog on the moon's favorite dessert is carrot cake with green frosting.
with pink frosting. with brown frosting.
and with a bone on top.

For you alone: favorite poem:

The Dying Fisherman's Song

'Twas midnight on the ocean,
Not a streetcar was in sight,
The sun was shining brightly
For it had rained all that night.

'Twas a summer's day in winter
The rain was snowing fast,
As a barefoot girl with shoes on,
Stood sitting on the grass.

'Twas evening and the rising sun
Was setting in the west;
And all the fishes in the trees
Were cuddled in their nests.

The rain was pouring down,
The sun was shining bright,
And everything that you could see
Was hidden out of sight.

The organ peeled potatoes,
Lard was rendered by the choir;
When the sexton rang the dishrag
Someone set the church on fire.

"Holy smokes!" the teacher shouted,
As he madly tore his hair.
Now his head resembles heaven,
For there is no parting there.

There's a river that runs down a mountain and it flows into the sea
Don't know how it got started, just know that it's got to be
Our love is like that river, it'll flow throughout all time
Heaven knows I need you and I'll never change my mind.
